Assisting Victims of Identity Theft: A Free CLE Presented by the Idaho Coalition Against Identity Theft

This is a video of the CLE presented on April 30, 2012 by the Idaho Coalition Against Identity Theft to provide information and tips for attorneys representing victims of identity theft. Stephanie Guyon of the Idaho Attorney General’s Office discussed civil remedies and legal steps to take to protect a client’s identity and credit. Patrick Costello of the University of Idaho, discussed victim rights in criminal prosecutions and how to provide counsel and advocacy for victims throughout the criminal justice process.
