Community Engagement

Idaho Legal Aid Services believes in working hand-in-hand with local communities to reach people who qualify for our services, as well as the organizations and service providers who support them. By collaborating with other professional and issue-focused groups, we ground and enhance our legal work to meet the needs of those we serve.

To best serve our clients, we strive to:

• Understand and respond to community needs,
• Share information and resources,
• Develop partnerships to coordinate services, and
• Expand our capacity to deliver high-quality legal support.

Our community engagement efforts include:

• Participating in coalitions and task forces,
• Providing training on legal issues we handle,
• Creating user-friendly legal information,
• Supporting referral relationships,
• Conducting outreach, and
• Taking part in other community-focused activities.
