This brochure was prepared by Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. for the purpose of informing tenants of their rights and responsibilities in federal housing programs under current Idaho and federal law. One of the options available to a bankruptcy trustee is the authority to set aside or “avoid” transfers of a debtor’s assets that the trustee determines unfairly placed the asset beyond the reach of creditors.
