Nothing is more stress than a family crisis. Idaho Legal Aid Services (ILAS) provides free lega; help that keeps children and adults safe, financial secure, and able to move forward. We obtain protection orders for survivors of domestic violence, help parents secure custody and child-support orders that put children first, an =d guide families through divorce or guardianship. Our staff approach every case with sensitivity, recognizing that legal decisions today shape a family's well-being for years to come.

Idaho Legal Aid Services is limited in the types of family law cases that we can accept. Currently, we provide legal help to families in the following types of cases:
- Civil protection order, divorce, establishing or modifying custody, visitation, and/or child support, where domestic violence is present, or
- Guardianships for seniors or minors (some offices only).
