The Idaho Senior Legal Risk Detector is a joint project of Idaho Legal Aid Services, Inc. and ProBono.Net. The purpose of the risk detector is detect issues for seniors or the elderly related to housing, debt, financial exploitation, healthcare, and abuse and to do so quickly and accurately.

As with most legal questions, the answer is fact specific. The instant a bankruptcy case is filed, your creditors are prohibited by law from contacting you, attempting to collect a debt and yes, they are also prohibited from foreclosing on your home. At the Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA) in Ada County, Court Advocates are able to provide a number of services to those that have experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual abuse.
