What is an abandoned vehicle?
Vehicles are considered abandoned when they are left for twenty-four (24) hours or longer within the limits of a highway, on property open to the public, or on private property without the property owner’s consent. This definition excludes instances when an owner or operator cannot remove a vehicle and has notified a law enforcement agency and requested assistance.

Housing discrimination: Federal law prohibits housing discrimination based on your race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability. If you have been trying to buy or rent a home or apartment and you believe your rights have been violated, you can file a fair housing complaint.
The Fair Housing Act, Title VIII of the Civil Rights Acts, prohibits discrimination in housing.

Predatory mortgage lending practices strip borrowers of home equity and threaten families with foreclosure, destabilizing the very communities that are beginning to enjoy the fruits of our nation’s economic success.
