What is County Assistance?
If you are indigent and cannot afford hospital and medical care, including medications, or basic necessities such as rent, food, and utilities, then the county is required by law to assist you in paying for them. This is a "last resort" program. This means that the county will pay for these services or necessities only if you have no other way of paying for them on a temporary basis. If, for example, you receive Medical Assistance through the state, then that program must pay for your hospital and medical bills.
A summary on a housing provider’s obligation to make reasonable accommodations and modifications which may be necessary to afford a person with a disability the equal opportunity to use and enjoy a dwelling.
The following activities may indicate discrimination. You can follow up by requesting a written explanation from the housing provider or by contacting an agency, such as the Intermountain Fair Housing Council, who can do testing to see if discrimination is occurring.

This chart by the National Consumer Law Center (NCLC) provides a summary of relief options available for borrowers facing a COVID-19 related hardship. The options that a borrower has depends on the loan investor. For loans it covers, Section 4022 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and. Economic Security (CARES) Act requires forbearance for borrowers with COVID-19 hardships and some investors have expanded on those provisions.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a press release on February 11, 2021 that they will begin enforcing the Fair Housing Act to include protection against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
HUD will also begin to review all claims of discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation received since Jan. 20, 2020.
